• Have you tried restarting your machine? This fixes a lot of problems.

• If you have just plugged in something new and things go wrong, try removing it.

• If you are having trouble getting Windows to start, check to see if there any CD's or other media in the drives.

• During a storm it is common for ADSL (broadband) services to fail. This seems common to the Central Coast. If you cannot reach the internet ("web page cannot be displayed") then check the lights on your modem. If any are flashing other than green, Call your Internet Service Provider.
